Μια τολμηρή απόφαση, που γεννήθηκε πριν από λίγα χρόνια πάνω από ένα μπουκάλι κρασί Chianti, δημιούργησε μια διοργάνωση που από πέρυσι ανήκει στο μπουκέτο των αγώνων “by UTMB”. Το Chianti Ultra Trail by UTMB δεν είναι απλώς ένας αγώνας στην απαράμιλλη φυσική ομορφιά της Τοσκάνης, αλλά και ένα συναρπαστικό πολιτιστικό ταξίδι μέσα από μεσαιωνικά χωριά, ιστορία, παράδοση και τις εξαιρετικές γεύσεις των κρασιών της περιοχής. Το Advendure αγκάλιασε την διοργάνωση από την πρώτη της έκδοση το 2018 και με ιδιαίτερη χαρά είδε την ποιοτική της εξέλιξη. Καθώς το Chianti Ultra Trail μεγάλωνε, δεν έφερε μόνο το ορεινό τρέξιμο αλλά και το outdoor στην καρδιά μιας περιοχής αφιερωμένης στο κρασί και τον γαστρονομικό και πολιτιστικό τουρισμό, υποδεχόμενο κάθε χρόνο ολοένα και περισσότερους αθλητές από όλο τον κόσμο, ανάμεσα τους και πολλούς Έλληνες. A bold decision, made a few years ago over a bottle of Chianti wine, led to the creation of an event that, since last year, has become part of the “by UTMB” race series. The Chianti Ultra Trail by UTMB is not just a race through the unmatched natural beauty of Tuscany, but also an exciting cultural journey through medieval villages, history, tradition, and the exceptional flavors of the region's wines. Advendure embraced the event from its first edition in 2018 and has followed its quality growth with great joy. As the Chianti Ultra Trail has evolved, it has brought not only trail running but also outdoor sports to the heart of a region dedicated to wine and gastronomic and cultural tourism, welcoming an increasing number of athletes from around the world each year, including many Greeks.The soul of the event and our dear friend, Matteo Matteuzzi, talks to us about all of this and, of course, about this year's edition, which will take place from March 20th to 23rd, based in Radda in Chianti. Chianti Ultra Trail, a trail running event that has left us with the best impressions over the years, which takes place in one of the most beautiful and most historic areas of Europe, the enchanting Tuscany and the picturesque Radda in Chianti, comes with its 4th edition on 26 -27 March 2022. Impressive news is the addition of a new race to its bouquet of races, called Ultra Trail Chianti Castles - UTCC with a distance of 102Km (+4.000m), which unites all the historic castles of Chianti area.
