Two unbelievable races took place in Italy and in The United States in June. The 11th and 12th races of Ultra-Trail® World Tour have been appreciated and the show was in the place.
At The North Face® Lavaredo Ultra Trail, the French performed extremely well. Fabien ANTOLINOS succeeded to win his first victory on the World Tour and Caroline CHAVEROT came back in good shape and she is clearly positioning for UTMB®. At Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run, Ryan SANDES (RSA) wins with the honors. He celebrates one of his most beautiful performances like Cat BRADLEY (USA) on the women side, who impressed her competitors. Austria welcomed the 10th stop of Ultra-Trail World Tour last June, 17th. The runners discovered for 105 kilometers the beautiful city of Salzburg and its surroundings. The participants of the race appreciated the crossing of the forests and the lakes.
After 10 hours and 26 minutes Alexander RABENSTEINER (ITA) became the new winner of mozart100®. He led a large part of the race. On the women side, the suspense was breathtaking. And at the end, Cecilia FLORI (ITA) won the race. With her 3rd place at Tarawera Ultramarathon, she directly enters at the 8th place of the UTWT Annual Ranking.

With 101 kilometers and an elevation gain of 6 700 meters, the runners will have the time to appreciate the beautiful landscapes of the race. Eiger Ultra-Trail® is a huge challenge for all the participants, who should be amazed by the specific atmosphere of the race. The 13th race of Ultra-Trail® World Tour this year promises to be great.

After 12 UTWT races, it's time to have a look on the Annual Ranking.
Mélanie ROUSSET (FRA) is still first thanks to a wonderful beginning of the season. But Andrea HUSER (SUI) and Fernanda MACIEL (BRA) are close and everything can change with the rest of the UTWT races.
On the men side, Pau CAPELL (SPA) is not ready to let his first place this year and he remains for now the king of the UTWT Annual Ranking. Didrik HERMANSEN (NOR) jumps to the second place and Fabien ANTOLINOS (FRA) directly enters at the third place thanks to his victory last week.

Now ITRA provides runner insurance valid worldwide.
A yearly contract (49€ - for the whole year) and a temporary contract (39€ - for one race only) are proposed to the runners who are ITRA members and up-to-date with their membership. Several sports activities are covered by the insurance: road running, trail running, hiking, mountain bike, and cross-country skiing... The insurance coverage is valid for competitions, trainings and also group outings! If an accident occurs during the race, the insurer will assume rescue and evacuation expenses in helicopter, ambulance costs, repatriation to your home...
